Preface:

All praises and mercies belong to Allah SWT, the module of Basic English for
Animal Husbandry is finally finished. Huge appreciation and accomplishment is
awarded to the compiler team who has worked hard to finish arranging this
module.
This module is a course book of English Subject for undergraduate students
of diploma program of faculty of animal husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman
University. This module is organized and compiled from various and proper
sources developed by the team to achieve students’ need of mastering basic
English competence.
This module focuses on developing their integrated skills through project
practicum task and grammatical understanding to support their skills. This course
book contains learning outcomes on each topic in order the students are expected
to be able to achieve the topic and skill competence after learning the materials. In
addition, it provides introduction of course material completed by the learning
materials and its summary. For assessing the students, this English module
afterwards challenges them to try a lot of activities or exercises. Hopefully, they
are able to comprehend each material. They also team up with other friends to
finish group project. The group project is set up to train English skills improvement
(listening, reading, speaking, writing) supported the main material on grammar
focus.
Last, we hope this course book, Basic English for Animal Husbandry,
becomes the companion book while learning the English subject. The students
hopefully will gain advantage to use it preparing their mastery of basic English
